August 2026 Newsletter

Hello Followers!

PHEW! …….. and we thought July flew by like a flash! Wow. I don’t know about you, but we blinked, and August was gone!

In this month’s newsletter, we’ll share some of our adventures, upcoming shows, NEW Fall designs, and info on placing orders for Christmas.

Where is Rural Girls going next!?

‍ ‍As of right now, Rural Girls only has two shows on our calendar.

  • The Spoon River Drive

  • The Gifford Community Craft Show

Click on the calendar to the left, or the link below to see the details about each event listed on our website or Facebook page.

Where would you like to see us next?

if you think we should come to a show near you, send us an email!

It’s Fall Y’all!!

We all know that September 1st is the unofficial, official first day of Fall. Bring on the hoodies, bonfires, and apple cider slushies!

Fall is our absolute FAVORITE season, and we’ve had so much fun coming up with some new designs.

These Jack-O-Lantern pumpkins have a perfect primitive Fall look!

The background is a rusty orange color with a distressed, glossy finish. The faces have a matte, textured finish, which gives the cup a pottery vibe.

These Country Fall cups are another pottery-inspired design. The lettering and graphics are a textured terra cotta color that you’d swear it was real clay. The background color is an off-white that has a splattered faux enamelware finish.

We have these new designs along with several other Fall cups listed on the website, ready to be filled with your favorite Fall-flavored latte…hot or iced!

Christmas Orders

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas……. well, maybe not quite. But believe it or not, we’re already working on Christmas orders!

Have you started shopping for Christmas yet? If you’re thinking of ordering a custom rural Girls design, please visit our “Christmas Orders'“ page for more details.

Around The Farm

Sometimes Rural Girls looks a little less like emails, bookwork, processing orders, or creating new designs and more like this……

When the sweet corn is ready, you gotta move fast!

A somewhat messy job is more enjoyable when you can turn it into a family affair.

We were able to put up an assortment of frozen, canned, roasted and freeze dried corn.

Our sister Faith processed 5lbs of jalapeños from the garden recently.

She put 1lb into the freezer,

canned 1lb for SF cowboy candy(it’s a new recipe, so we’ll see how it turns out), and canned 3lbs for pickled jalapeños.

Rural Girls is more than just the name of our business; it’s who we are and who we’ll always be.

We hope everyone had a great summer!

Look for an email next week with info on our next show, NEW Fall designs, Christmas ordering information, and general happenings around the farmstead.

We greatly appreciate each and every one of you!

We love doing what we do at Rural Girls, and we’ll continue just as long as the Lord allows.
